A suburb of separate houses with four or more bedrooms
More than 99% of occupied homes in Beveridge were separate houses, against 73% across Victoria. None of its occupied homes were flats or apartments, where the state counted 12%, and 1% were townhouses, terraces or semi-detached houses, compared with 14% statewide. The figures suggest a suburb made up of stand-alone houses rather than shared buildings.
Beyond the 77% with four or more bedrooms, 20% of Beveridge homes had three bedrooms, below the 42% across Victoria, and 2% had two bedrooms or fewer, below the state's 25%. Of all private dwellings in the suburb, 5% were unoccupied on Census night, below the 11% recorded across Victoria as a whole.
